Inner Artist Consulting exists to help creative people and nonprofits organizations achieve their goals so they can continue doing good in their community. This is achieved by providing low cost consulting services to creative people and nonprofits.
People
Brandon Waters (Founder/Consultant) is extremely passionate about dance and the performing arts. He believes that art has the capacity to change lives and communities. This belief drives him to help artists, arts organizations, and nonprofits throughout the United States achieve their mission and goals through a verity of consulting services.
Brandon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics at Brigham Young University Idaho with a minor in dance in 2013. His passion for dance inspired him to move from Idaho to attend graduate school in Chicago. He holds a Master of Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management Degree from Columbia College Chicago. While studying at Columbia College Chicago he worked as an accounting tutor and adjunct accounting professor. He also had the opportunity to consult with local nonprofits to develop marketing, development, and strategic plans. In his final semester he co-produced a festival of staged readings in partnership with the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department.
Since graduating Brandon has served the arts community in Chicago in many capacities including: Board Treasurer for Thodos Dance Chicago and Hot Crowd, Executive Director for Red Clay Dance Company, and Managing Director at Citadel Theatre Company. Brandon has over five years’ experience assisting nonprofits in finance, marketing, and development.
